Just speaking in what ifs: Say we hire Strong would Bridgewater even think of following Strong here? I have to think Charlie was the only reason he signed with Louisville in the first place. We could use an experienced QB on the roster if Bray leaves. Redshirt and let him battle it out in 2014. Strong I'm sure would love to have one of his "guys" starting at QB. Plus Bridgewater could reunite with "his" coach & play in the SEC too. P

Have a feeling Bridgewater would stick around a year and then enter the NFL draft instead of transferring, red-shirting, and then playing a year.

Probably. I'm not expecting it to happen but it would have to cross his mind a little bit I'd imagine.

wtf?

I will take the two guys we currently have behind Bray and be happy about it.

You can't be saying that if given the option between 2 unproven QB's and Bridgewater that you would chose our current QB's?

This is UT, up is down and down is up. Sideways is crooked and straight is slanted. Yes means no and no means yes.

All that aside , im excited about the potential we have at QB

As to the hiring of a new coach, I would think that the prudent course of action would be to keep all of the coaches on offense. The defense staff will probably need to be completely demissed except for the line coach.

Not even in the realm of possibilities.

Do you guys just sit around and dream this stuff up?

No offense but I'd take him over the guys we have now.

No offense!? I mean this in the most offensive way i can possibly make it, I would trade half of our team for Bridgewater and that would be a bargain. But seriously Teddy will probably enter next season as a Heisman favorite if not the favorite.

You think he would be THE favorite over Johnny Football???

Uh......no. A player like that is not going to transfer and sit out a year after having the success he had this season. Not going to happen.

Anyone look at Louisville's rival page? There is not a single 4 star recruit committed to U of L. Im not sure what anyone is crazy excited about this one.

It still makes an impact in recruiting. Dooley didn't bring anyone over from La Tech, but he still did an outstanding job of recruiting in the month leading up to Signing Day that year.

Tennessee can come up with their OWN QB. Bridgewater isn't the only QB in the land. Neither is Strong the only coach. Cmon people--we are Tennessee. Dangit!! We don't need no Louavil transfers!

TN should be able to get a Bigger coach than Charlie Strong. C'mon Man. :loco:

You have a grand total of 20 posts and atleast half are this same thing. Please explain why Strong is such a bad hire and who you think would be a better option (that we actually have a shot at).

Just an FYI, Gruden isn't coming. And Strong was one of the hottest up and coming coaches when he left UF. All he has done is take Louisville to a BCS game in 2 years. I'm not sure I see what's so bad about him.
