Anyone watch this show? I've watched the past 2-3 seasons. The season premier was last nite. Starts off the guys are out trying to help people who were hit by the tornado and they actually show what looks to be a guy who had passed away. Then they go back 3 days and show how they got to the point they were at. Next week they show what happened. Surely they didn't show that guy on the ground and him be dead. You could clearly make out the guys face.

I've watched it for years. Somehow, though, I must have missed last season as I didn't know that Reed got his own version of the TIV. Reed is freaking nuts! I could see him driving that sucker into the middle of several tornados in a single season. He has phenomenal instincts and makes all of the other meteorologists on that show look like buffoons in comparison.

Last night kind of ticked me off because it was nothing but a teaser for next week. Also good to know Sean is still clueless about storm chasing. He's never going to get the shots he needs for his movie because he won't take the gamble to go get it.

Agreed. Sean is a total moron.

Had no idea the season started. Had to have been a slow start to the season if I'm not mistaken the first two months had the lowest amount of tornados in a while.

Not sure how much is "TV", but they acted like there was some big storms to start out in TX. But just a "TV day" later someone else was getting a late start to the season. Reid took off to MS for the scene the op was talking about.

I love Reid's attitude. If you want, I can drop you off at a rental car place and you can drive back to Oklahoma. There's really no big decision to be made. If there's a chance to chase tornadoes in Mississippi, then the Dominator's there. The only question is whether you're coming along.

I agree except "then the dominator's going to Mississippi" was beyond corny. Just say "we're going to Mississippi".

I agree. I just like his attitude that if the other guy doesn't want to go, he can drop him off for a rental car. Of course, I think most of these guys are corny. Crazy, but corny.

Also, Sean whining the whole show about Reid copying the TIV was ridiculous. Perhaps Reid thought that it would be a good idea to actually have someone with the capability of finding a tornado with a vehicle equipped to drive into it.

i'd be pissed too if i was sean. sean said why he was pissed last nite. said reid was sneaky about building his own tiv. sean seems like a cool guy, reid seems like a complete goober. reid however is by far the better storm chaser.

Reid had no need to ask Sean for permission to build his own vehicle (which is what Sean actually said he wanted). It's not like Sean had patented the design or technology. Sean strikes me as anything but a cool guy.

sean shlda patented it. reid just seems a little sneaky. he's just goofy

Sure, but they're all goofy. If Sean had one active brain cell in his body he should have aligned himself with Reid two years ago. There is one guy that continually gets right up close to tornado after tornado, and that is Reid.

i am not surprised at all that mania finds sean to be the cool guy. an out there, not very sociable guy who only really understands his field... Yep, that's the cool guy.

btw, mania played basketball. Did ya'll know that? He's also definitely not gay. He'll tell you all about it if you want him to.

Reid annoys me so much I almost can't watch the show. I would like nothing more than to see him get punched in the face by tall guy the next time he screams at him like a spoiled child.

Is it weird that I always root for Reed's team to intercept the tornado over Sean Casey or Tim Samaras's team? I can't really stand Sean, and Tim I couldn't care less about.

Glad that Josh Wurman got taken off of the show a couple of years ago.

"Dr. Wurman, the supercell is going to drop a tornado approximately 5 miles south of our location"

"Let's go east so we can intercept it later"

This is probly my favorite show on tv now. Been watching it from day 1.

I like Tim Samaras. He knows what he's doing and he's not a jack@ss like Sean and Josh. Seems like a genuine person.

Sean is a whiny little punk. He complains about everyone else screwing up when he should just shut up and film and let everyone else do their job. He brings along weather experts then he won't listen to them.

Josh is just as bad. I know his research is important and all, but dang his attitude sucks. He comes off as trying to be so superior to everyone else it's laughable. Looked like a incompetent goof in the 1st full season because he wouldn't listen to anyone else.

I like Reed. Yea, he's loud and can be a little annoying but he seems like he enjoys what he does more than anyone else on the show. He has a ton of enthusiam. If I could ride with anyone I'd rather go with Reed. He does the best job of any finding the tornadoes and accomplishing his goals.
