He is not a great qb, we all know this. He has made his fair share of mistakes, but he did not single handly lose the game saturday. The offensive line couldnt give him anytime in the pocket. You could put any qb u want back there but if he doesnt have time hes gonna make mistakes.

Whats with all this put in stephens talk. I lost all respect for the guy in the wyoming game last year. He showed no hustle and is a hot head. Neither one of our qbs is completly stable or ready to run the offense. But we will do the best with what we got.

So everyone please stop blaming cromp, and believe me im far from being his biggest supporter but he doesnt need to be booed at Neyland. So lets all just focus on fl and look forward to watching this team grow over the season and the next few years. This is our team, so lets show our support. GO VOLS!!!

I support the team and this staff 100%. With that said, the UCLA loss is 1000% on Crompton. No other way around it. The interceptions were plays where he wasn't pressured, so that's not an excuse.

i believe that Eric Berry said to not play the blame game, or you would have to answer to him.

I tell my players, you have 12 hours to celebrate or wallow in your sorrow, after that its time to move on and gear up for next week.

We have UF in the swamp next week, i think we need to focus on that then trying to play the blame game.

You have got to be kidding. Boo Crompton is 100% the problem with this team. His performance is 100% cause of our loss to UCLA. If Phil Jr does not sit his @ss on the bench for the rest of the year, he might get his walking papers soon.

He sucks. End of story. Worst QB ever to play for UT. Even the ones before the forward pass.

we should not bash crompton and it ws not all cromptons fault

Ever hear of field position? look at the field position the Bruins had from them and tell me it was not a direct link to 13 pts. I totally disagree with you on that statement.

Like i said before, im far from being a crompton supporter, but there is plenty of blame to go around. Its hard to put it all on one player.

:post-4-1090547912: Perhaps the Headcase JC is on here.

Nah, he would just focus all his attention on ONE thread and stare a hole thru it as per his M.O.

I'm far from a supporter myself... And I have no reservations with laying it all at the 'Stached One's feet.

If you paid close attention to Eric Berry towards the end of the game you noticed his jersey sweat soaked and he was sucking air, yet he continued to play as hard as he could. When the D made yet another stop, on came Crompton and just gave it away again. He is too much of a let down to his team, coaches, and fans to cut him any slack!

Y? Im just curious as to what all u see in Stephens.

In all honesty I feel like he gives us the best chance to win. I understand he is a hot head but he is passionate and thats what we need in a QB. Crompton looks like he is about to take a nap, and looks he is confused unless we play a high school team. Crompton consistently focuses on one receiver, and Helen Keller could pick this guy off. He is just embarressing to our school and wish he would go back to North Carolina. Not wishing this guy physical harm but tired of him ruining our seasons.

Or hit the X and close the page and blame it on his mouse.

I just picture him sitting in his apartment with Yanni on and petting his mustache the same way Dr. Evil pets his cat on Austin Powers.
