IIRC, he got kinda rolled up from behind. Looked more like his ankle than knee. I've seen no updates only speculation that he's out for a couple of weeks to being done for the season. We'll only know what the required reports tell us. The fact that nothing has come out to support the notion that he's out for the season, gives me some optimism that there's a chance he'll return at some point this year. How did his injury happen ? I've not seen it.
I agree that the OL will not be a strength this year like I expected, but I just can’t believe they’ll continue to be as bad as they’ve been so far. I mean, how? How are they so much worse than last year? I can’t bring myself to believe they won’t at least get back to 2025 formIIRC, he got kinda rolled up from behind. Looked more like his ankle than knee. Regardless of his return, the OL is and will remain a hot mess. Heupel will have to adjust the plan to compensate as best he can. My guess is that we'll see more roll outs and quick passes. Not sure I'd risk Brandon running regularly....not like he has much of a choice with this OL. If I'm Auburn, I'm stacking the box and playing tight press coverage until Brandon shows he can make 'em pay and right now, I'm not sure he can. Gonna be a week to week, defense and special teams dependent games for the rest of the season. Gonna need some luck for 7 wins.
A guy that has zero clue as to how competitive sports works weighing in on the violent sport of footballGood conditioning doesn’t make up for poor coaching. Poor coaching puts you in more bad positions. More times in bad positions, higher risk of injury. Heupel’s offense is a mess, plain and simple:

We’ve continually watched linemen go down during games over his tenure. Not necessarily season ending. I can remember years where Olines played intact for full season with little if any change and playing every game start to finish.Dumb comment is dumb. CJH has been here for years and there is no pattern of significant in game injuries on offense.
