Asked if that was due to fatigue, Spurrier said, “I guess so.”

When asked if he was impaired in any way, he said, “I hope not.”

“Whether or not I have a few beers after every game for the past 29 years I don’t think I need to get into all that,” Spurrier said. “Most coaches that I know we probably do have few beers after ballgames after building up all week and so forth. But that was a draining day and I got too negative. I don’t like being that negative after a victory.”

Oh Stevie...

One of the few episodes of a coach's show that might be entertaining.

How many people watch those things these days?

Even when I hate Steve Spurrier, I still can't help but love Steve Spurrier.

The OBC is a true classic. There's not too many like him left in the ranks of college football these days, and I will miss him when he finally retires.

Still bitter that he wasn't a Vol.

Keeping it REAL. To bad Johnny Majors couldn't join him for a little good ole boy talking football.

I'm pretty sure Spurrier could get away with anything at this point.

Does anyone else think he's gotta be damn close to retiring?

USC is going to take a major step back next year. I know their backup QB isn't bad, but they lose Shaw and Clowney, and I don't think they really have any other big time play makers.

I'm pissed that drunk bastard is making a show supporting the gamecocks. That's absolutely insane.

If he coached the Vols, and did the same thing, I would support, and love his actions.

How dare he. :eek:lol:
