Stealing a win at Ole Miss

They will be coming off two highly emotional west division games. They will be expecting to live in our offensive backfield which is probable, but may be looking past us as a whole. We have a week to rest some starters (hopefully) and prepare for them. Our defense is getting nastier by the minute. Winning is a long shot at best, but I guess I'm just a dreamer. And yes I saw the Florida game. Yes I know what happened. I'm just tired of talking about it. GBO

Its good that they are playing at a&m this week. Might get dinged up a bit and cant look ahead like if they were playing a weak team

Hopefully Ole Miss wins this week. If they lose I think it lowers the chance that they overlook us. It might not matter any way. Hopefully we get bad Bo Wallace who is prone to make a game changing play at anytime.

Bo will have trouble against our D. They don't have the best running game. If the O line improve just a hair we should be fine in this game .

lol....this board is great.

Sunday through Wednesday its bickering, arguing, doom, we only gonna win two more games, fire Bajakian, Butch is in over his head, start Blair, free Dobbs, 4-8 is the best we can expect...

...By Thursday it is back to the normal run of the mill "I have a feeling about Saturday", we are going to steal a win, we are better than our record...type stuff.

Not a dreamer....It is a "process" process began for me feeling physically ill and angry/depressed walking out of Neyland :vava: on Sat ..to today where I see the first post about our the possibility of winning our next SEC game...To during this Sat's game where we are throwing the ball all over the yard and lighting up the scoreboard against UTC like a Christmas tree starting to think..."hey we might have a chance next week against Ole Miss".. to...Weds Where I will say.."We have a shot..They might overlook us"...to Friday when I put in my pick the score in and say 31-28 Vols for the upset!! to kickoff believing we should win this game...It is all about process and overcoming grief.. :thumbsup:

I'm with you, parmejohn. I started a thread on this and was appropriately treated to gifs and "what are you smoking?" replies, but I think this could be Butch's signature win. Either way, it will tell us a lot about his ability to adapt, adjust, and bounce back.

They ll need a lot of help from Ole Miss. Our OL may do good to keep Worley on the field.

I sat right behind UFs band. I got serenaded by them blasting Rocky Top as I walked out. I will never forget that moment as long as I live. :/

Totally agree with every word, parmejohn. Bo Wallace hasn't had A.J. and Co. buzzsawing through the backfield till then.

You are spot on brother, but I can't live in misery. If I didn't have hope every week, I couldn't bear being a fan.
