It is a testament to the great state of our hoops program when we can put over 20K in the Tommy for an 8 o'clock Wednesday tip-off against Arkansas in sub-freezing temps and questionable road conditions.

Hats off to Pearl, Hamilton, and the lion-sized heart of the team.

Anyone who has followed VOL basketball for the past couple of decades should really really appreciate what we have right now. Not sure I would have ever believe that we would be #4 in b-ball and 22-2. And the best part is, I don't see any reason why the program's success won't continue for the foreseeable future... as long as we keep Pearl in Knoxville.
