State of Tennessee loaded with even more talent in 2018

Where do you get that D4H? There's 4 players listed in their top 100 but none in the top 50 from Tennessee. That's not what I call loaded.

Another state that is on the rise is Tennessee. Seven prospects out of the state made this initial list. It could have been higher. That rise is consistent with what we've seen out of Tennessee in recent years, including a 2017 class that is loaded with Top100 players. The University of Tennessee has an early jump on the 2019 crop with one commitment (Kendrell Scurry)already in the books.

7 – Tennessee
Memphis Central defensive tackle Trevis Hopper (No. 30) is at the top of another talented group in The Volunteer State.

Sorry about my wrong post guys about the top 100 for 2019. I was wrong but like I said right at that moment my internet decided to cut out.

Sorry DF4 for posting something against you that I was the one that was wrong. You are right! We are loaded for 2019 in Tennessee. But, we also have Pappoe from Georgia on out lists who's the #1 overall recruit to boot. Thanks!

The link D4H posted has him as #1 overall. I'm pretty sure. This was viewed though when I was having internet problems & still am BTW. Charter! Charter! They will be out here Friday to check it out though.

Edit: You're right. He is #2. The article said they had several considered for #1 & Pappoe was one of them.

2018 has the potential to be one monster of a recruiting class and has more potential than 2017 due to:

1. We have two highly rated TN kids that are ALL VOL, are all in other kid's ears and are aphas. We had two highly rated kids early on in 2017 but time has shown that they were not all vol, one had spurned other schools due to competition (Hunter ain't an alpha) and the other (Higgins) is purely a follower. Cade and Tae are leaders and other recruits gravitate to that. This will really bode well with the wealth of in state talent in 2018.
2. We will have the opportunity to do what Clemson is doing this year. If you look back Clemson has had some decent classes that are top heavy with talent, this year they have a strong full class. I firmly believe a lot of this is due to them being an "IT" program this year with them making a run to the title game. If UT plays up to their potential this year we will have a golden opportunity to be the "IT" program. Just win baby!
3. The selling point of early playing time will be back! We have loaded up the last couple of years and the depth is there but there are some positions that will once again have the sell of early playing time. Unless things change between now and NSD which I fully anticipate it doing it looks like we will be able to sell early PT in some positions especially at Guard. We will need some elite guards and a center in the 2018 class.

This cycle is going to be fun to watch. Especially if we have a SEC Title run.

I think I have heard this song before.:) Where's my bucket of H2O?:)
