Starting to question my allegiance

to our team. Not at all because of anything any player or coach has done. They bust their asses off daily for us. Instead it's because of the fan base I'm apart of. A lot of you guys are classless, childish, whiny, bitter, rude people and it's embarrassing. I was Born in k-town and have been a fan for 39 years and I could never root for another team, but I just need to know that the majority of the fan base is not this way. What say you VN? Are the type that chant F U Florida in front of small children a small minority, or has it really gotten as bad as it seems? ....And the performance on the field is no excuse, so in b4 that. It's just a game. Shouldn't change how we talk to and treat other people.

Its the same fans that likely bash other teams fans for being rude

The chant is pathetic, and it was probably the same crowd on here crying they are done. Yet, they're still on here posting??? Bashing coaches and players all day long. I'm upset over losing, and I hate it, but I'm not gonna say I'm done and then start threads and keep posting.

Nope, likely the ones who predicted an ass beating of Florida and then can't channel their anger at the cause, but blame the opponent for taking advantage of a poorly coached game

The fanbase showed up today. The offensive staff did not.

This. From MOSTLY young, impetuous, and very likely drunk students. The sea of frustration is causing people to act in ways they normally wouldn't. On here, in the stands, wherever. People are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Doesn't excuse some behaviors but it clearly explains some.

If that's why you wanna change alliegances... Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Whether you like it or not we have one of the best fan bases in the country. 2/3 sellouts to start the year after 6 years of crap. Bye bye.

50 years of a frustrating team is not a excuse, It's just not. There's more to life then to let a game meant for entertainment darken it and make it miserable for people around you. What's the example for our children for instance?

Listen, the Florida fans I've had the pleasure of interacting with today, in prior years, and in Gainesville make today's chant look PG.

I certainly wasn't chanting, it was started in the student section. We were all young and stupid once.

You said you were questioning allegiance to the team. Therefore I'm assuming you'd be cheering for someone other than the vols, considering it's human nature to be biased

Then question the fan base as I do, not the coaches and the players. Also I am not that way. A lot of these guys on here are indeed whiny children that have nothing better to do than troll a forum because they hate themselves and their lives and feel like everyone else has to feel miserable too.

Believe me, the people on here that whine and complain are the outspoken, moronic few that need to make sure everyone knows just how sorry their existence is.
