Opposite of EB, who gets the nod? Waggner, Raines, Evans? Or do you think we move someone like Rogan to Safety (didn't he practice their briefly last year?) and thus have Ma. Johnson and Vinson at DB? Also, is Janzen Jackson more of a CB or Safety?

Coach Garza said both Janzen Jackson and Darren Myles will get their first looks at safety when they arrive in the summer. Jackson is listed as a corner and may very well end up there, but he'll get his first shot at safety.

Jackson, Waggner, Rogan, Wilks, Myles, and Anderson at safety.
Vinson, Evans, Johnson, Fleming, Rogan, Oliver, Edwards (if he gets in), and Gordon (if he gets in) at corner.

I think our secondary will be:

CB - D. Rogan
CB - B. Vinson/M. Johnson ( Whichever one has a better spring & fall )
S - E. Berry
S - J. Jackson/D. Myles Jr. ( Whichever one had a better spring & fall )

EB will split into two and come at Tebow from both sides.

If that doesn't happen... Then I don't know.

dude this is the last position im worried about....we will have a solid line up 2-deep at all positions.

cb:Rogan/vinson/evans
cb:M. Johnson/jackson/oliver
ss:Berry/ Raines (sorry dude wait one more year)
fs:Myles/ waggner

I honestly think Myles is way better than most people think. If he can adjust to Monte's scheme and the free safety position he'll be a stud

Right now:
FS - Raines
SS - Berry

In fall, I expect Raines to be overtaken by a freshman and probably Rogan as well.

Raines was a 2007 recruit but didn't get on campus until 2008 right? Did he play anywhere for that year before he made it on campus? Was it academics that kept him out?

Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. And yes--he spent his time there getting enough credits to enroll here. He will be a sophomore this year.

I just realized my first sentence is one hell of an alliteration. Haha.

Is anyone upset at the De-Mo stuff ? He was one of my fav players. I just can't believe he threw it all away........... I am NOT in any way questioning his dismissal just the fact that a 5* who started 20 games is gone ! IM more mad at De-Mo than anything. I just hate to see talent wasted, especially when he has children to take care of- He could have been something !!!

I don't see Wilks starting beside Berry unless Berry moves to FS. I think Wilks backs up Berry. I think we will see a lot of players moving in and out of the lineup so fatigue will not be a problem. We have a very good three deep even without Morley. If Gordon gets in he could challenge for playing time. Myles and Jackson will be in the rotation and one may break the starting line up very early on.
