If QD doesn't play lights out against our next cupcake game this Saturday I truly believe you have no choice but to play JG.

Sure he may not be 100% ready to start SEC ball but neither was Dobbs and look how he turned out. And Dormady obviously isn't ready either.

With JG and our run game I think he could have a more explosive offense since teams will have to worry about him with the read option. Throw in some run/pass options while feeding JFK 20+ touches a games and I think we could see a different team and confidence.

I had high hopes for dormady, but he's 3 games into being the starting QB @ UT and he literally looks the same as he did in the GT game. He shows good flashes but that's not enough. I saw some complaining about the WRs yesterday saying they are the reason for those INTs but I disagree. Dormady threw that one to Callaway for example and the dude had to jump 5 yards just to get a hand on it. High throw. Dormady also got Byrd a concussion after the GT game also. 50% passing doesn't cut it for a Junior.

Play JG.

Never should have recruited Dormady for this offense. The QB must be a fast runner and that option is gone with him in there. Running didn't hurt us last night as Kelly ran great. Wild passing hurt us on offense last night and the person calling plays is to blame for calling them when a run was appropriate.
I think JG should play because he is the type QB you need for this offense.

QD is and should be the starter, he has done nothing to lose his job. Two of the interceptions were on the receivers. He had two touchdown passes dropped, bad coaching is what the problem is not QD!

Wasn't impressed with JG, even against one of the worst teams in the nation - Indy St.

Though apparent JG not as polished, 3 ints wont cut it for Dormady. Think about it, the int going into the end zone and the pick 6 is 14 point opportunity to improve.

Let JG hand it off and run it, and sprinkle in some passes...then we actually have an identity.

Two TD passes dropped and it's bad coaching?? Did you hear what you just said?

One pick was his fault (the high throw yo callaway, one was the WR (Palmer's terrible route), and one was a mix of his and the offensive line (the throw over the middle to chandler). We shouldn't be throwing on the goal line regardless. He played well in the second half again throw but he just has to be more consistent.

Well QD is not the answer...is it not sacrilege to throw INTs on the redzone/goaline?

People blaming receivers when QD continues to throw behind receivers, throw off his back foot, and stare down receivers.

We're going to get booty blasted by GA

50% completion percentage is the coaches fault? It's not like we're taking deep shot after deep shot either...

You can blame the receivers all you want but QD should have 3-4 more INTs on his stats from lucky drops for opponents. I can think off 2 off the top of my head from the GT game. Something like, throwing into a group of 4 defenders 🤦🏻*♂️

I will give QD a little bit longer...yesterday's loss was 100% on CBJ. If he makes better decisions instead of all the ignorant play calls (2 times we had 1st and Goal and he throws 6 passes) then nobody is having this conversation about QD.

A change needs to be made...just not necessarily at QB...

I think in the long run JG will be a much much better QB than QD.

But I also agree with you 100%. Butch is the problem. QD is good enough to be a starting SEC QB. Our coaches cannot develop talent.

I knew the g tech game what u was getting from him..he looks at one side of the field, not accurate, and he is not mobile enough..They didn't give JG a chance..Butch should have let JG play a quarter or two against Gtech and he should have gave JG a half against Indiana State..By now coach would have know at least bout time UF game was who is qb is..coaches handled the qb situation poorly..now the coaches back to square one on week 4..smh

Even if JG was ready to be the starter he could not overcome the bad coaching. 5 years of Butch Jones horsesh#t is the problem.

He should have 10 more completions, too.

Totally agree but this MAC Offense needs a running QB. If Dormady is going to play, then the scheme needs to change to a power I formation at least for some plays.

Looking at Ferguson light it up yesterday and what Peterman did last year tells me we are in a tough spot in that we have young and talented qbs who will be successful. But looking back, these guys who transferred looked below average when they were thrown into the fire early, but they developed well given the opportunity. I would give JG and Dormady 50/50 snaps this week, with an increased mindset of run first...it's what we do well. Dormady showing good and bad but must continue to develop both. Let's face it, if not for the last play, we prob win in over time, and we are talking about how resilient the team is. TURNOVERS and a few isolated poor play calls on offense sunk us. Shouldn't have been that close of a game.

Incorrect..Callaway had to jump as high as he could just to tip it that one was on Dormady as were the other 2. And he had atleast 3 others that should have been intercepted but UF dropped them. He is a turnover waiting to happen.

:rock:I am finally glad to see some people posting and questioning QB Dormady instead of wanting to fire Coach Butch Jones now. Hopefully, we can get our freshman QB ready in our next game. With lack of experience, I certainly did not believe he was ready for Florida. I believe he is a far better runner than QB Dormady. QB Dormady keeps making the same mistakes over and over and is no better now than the beginning of the season. Let' make a change and give it a try.
