No matter what we should win easily. If we lose to Chump again who knows where things go from there.

Sorry, I must have missed it in the multitude of injury reports, but is Mcdowell out for a while?

Who will be in the 2-deep behind Vickers and Tuttle? A couple of DEs? Kongbo and Phillips?

He has? Based on what?

Based on the fact his run support is non existent on the edge. He's so sooo late diagnosing the run game.

Take horrible angles on Jalen Hurts. Before that Treveor Knight and The Frosh RB that out up 220 against us.

Have you not watched the past two weeks??????????????

He got pulled against UGA for the same thing. For a series. But Berry hasn't really shown much better.
Warrior needs to see increased reps...

How can you ask "based on what"?

TK has been a disappointment outside the florida game. He's not fast enough to keep up with TEs and misses too many tackles to be moved to LB. Really had high expectations for him. Maybe Warrior is the answer based on practice reports.

I'm not sure. But Jumper by and large has been our most consistent LB.

We get Kirkland back... give Bituli some reps. Let Elliott continue to play.

We might have a little something there then.

TK... yeah. But he's been decent.
Not what we expected, but he's made some ints and has been a willing tackler.

We definitely are NOT as good as last year with Randolph and McNiel

Couple of those guys will be felled by the bye week. (Would /s but I'm half certain it'll happen.)

This is why I don't trust Butch.........but do you guys remember how everybody raved about Nigel Warrior as they ALL said he will be an IMMEDIATE contributor on defense as he just has too many ball skills.........and we have yet to see him in any package on Defense........same thing goes for Tyler Byrd, however he has contributed on offense, but still they don't feed or feature him enough......just look how USC featured Adoree Jackson as a freshman......

I think this will be a great game for some of our DTs to get some experience in. I would like for the two deep to look like this for most of the game:

Vickers/Phillips or Johnson/Butcher
Tuttle/Kongbo or Picou/Bain

Just for some reference. In ranking offensive lines, ours ranks right around 60th in FBS play out of the 9 statistics an O line is graded on. South Carolina's ranks right at 100th. Thankfully our backups won't have some destroyers to deal with all game.

Would love to see Barnett get 3 sacks this game. I think if he can whoop up on Cam Robinson then South Carolina's LT shouldn't give him too much trouble.

Dont know why Vickers and Vereen continue to start. Both have struggled this year especially Vereen. Shirley Kongbo, Phillips or Taylor colud give us just as much production.

Never have been impressed with Abernathy. He got the Def player of the week for recovering 3 fumbles and that is it.

I thought he played pretty well in the first few games of the season but I have noticed he has regressed against A&M and Alabama. Those teams also happen to have very good offenses.

Agreed. I just remembered McDowell being able to walk off on his own power. So, I was thinking that it was a stinger or a concussion. Hopefully he will be back, but you are right, I don't feel horrible about our LB's because Jumper has been able to mostly hold it down.
