C: Thomas (overtakes Pope)

DE: Walker
DE: Williams (Martin Limited w/ injury)

LB: Thompson
LB: Lathers (overtakes King)
LB: Reveiz
CB: Gordon
CB: Evans

Walls is no longer suspended and Brown is a longshot to qualify.

Cooper will be used as a FB, but the offense will have a lot of 3 WR sets.

DE: Walker
DE: Williams (Martin Limited w/ injury)

M. Jackson will start some but definetely play before Williams.

Why do I cringe everytime I see Prentiss Wagner listed as a starter?

Because we saw him constantly missing tackles and looking at the back of Dexter McClusters jersey the entire Ole Miss game...

I am hoping Teague can play SS and beat our Wagner but thats optomistic thinking at this point. If not Teague will probably be a shoe in at the 3rd CB spot playing a lot in nickel...

I think we play play a lot of 3 WR sets Rogers (Da'Rick), and Moore split outside with Gerald in the slot. A lot of shotgun formations, swing passes, screens and gimmicks to make up for our O-line inexperience.

Do you have any idea why Gooch isn't going into fall camp as the starter? He has been on campus for awhile now and is the only real center we have on the team. I don't think we would have gone out and gotten him just to warm the bench.

Coaches have not seen him practice or play yet.

Oregeron is only coach I know to name a starter before even seeing him on the field when he named Schaeffer..

they did feel like Pope finished spring strong but I think they don't believe he can hold on. If Gooch can't do it, this OL will be really screwed without a competent center...

I think Wagner will get over taken at saftey by either Teague, Meline, or Brewer. Wylie has gotten Shaw into incredible shape i doubt he looses his spot to a true freshmen

His presence and the possibility of a breakthrough makes it easier to send meline and teague to DB

yeah even if you put him in as a decoy, defenses would have to stress over him some.:) i agree that it make the move with meline and teague a lot easier.

Okay, so is Frazier not on the team anymore or does everyone just forget about him at LB?

Think the AJ Suggs offense that should have beaten Florida during Gafneygate.
