So if I could jump like that, does that mean I'm scholarship worthy at UT? Asumnu is a waste of a football scholarship. There are guys that have been working hard to get on scholarship for a few years and probably aren't on scholarship, yet he comes right over and because he can jump, he gets to play for free? He better block about 5 field goals this year because God knows he can't catch.

You implied that these "others" who "have been fighting for a year or two" were working harder than Asumnu. The answer is, the coaches decided to award Stanley a scholarship for this semester based on everything they've seen. :crazy:no one ever said he wasn't a hard worker. he's a basketball player, of course he's tall and can jump high. that doesn't mean he's worthy of a scholarship than someone on the team or who has been fighting for a year or two to get a scholarship. ryan west, for example, was just given a scholarship and he's been there a few years splitting long snapping duties with Adam Miles. How important is snapping the ball as opposed to being the 6th or 7th receiver on the depth chart and someone who jumps to try and block field goals?
