Does anybody else ever find themselves standing for big plays like a crucial 3rd down, while watching the game on television? :yahoo: Please tell me I'm not the only one who's doing this.

Don't feel lonely, we have to replace the living room rug after every game from my paceing and jumping up and down. Do you yell at the players and refs and coaches like I do? you know "COme on , catch the friggin ball!" or "Throw the flag ref it happened right in front of you!' and " come on coach go for it!"

I don't yell at people as much as I used to. I basically watch the game the same way as I do when I'm at the game.

i cheer, pace, and yell and all that good stuff by the end of the game it feels like i just got done playing 4 quarters with the team and i have usually lost my voice. i also have pregame routines and my gameday clothes i have to wear to ensure a tenn win thats why i take blame for the uf loss cause i didnt have the right UT shirt on that night :banghead: but that WILL never happen again.

Yeah, I own just about every item of clothing that has Tennessee on it, and when I am watching the games, I have on the Tennessee hat (or beanie, depending on how cold it is), the shorts, the shirt, the tennessee wristband, my tennessee bedroom slippers, I have one of the orange pom-poms from down in the student section that they give you, and my tennessee blanket and tennessee pilow. I am normally screaming at the T.V., standing up, and when a big play happens, I run through my house screaming, and I get really wild when something big happens. Especially when we are at the games, I go nuts! It's great to be a Volunteer fan, and be in this wide community of people who love the same thing that I do.... Tennessee!

I used to get very emotionally tied to the game, after the 99 Florida game I was phisically ill for 2 days. That was when I decided it was time to lighten up. I still get as excited about games, I just try not to stay upset, going thru a bottle of Pepto every game is not worth it. I jump up and down, scare the dog under the bed, yell at the TV, and try to explain it to my KY raised wife and she just shakes her head like she understands. Anyway, my favorite part of the game is running through the T. Gives me chill bumps and misty eyes every time.

I switch seats in order to change karma.

It is scary and funny; I thought I was the only fruitcake that did this.

I wear a Raynoch Thompson jersey, a glove that I got at the Citrus Bowl against Ohio State, Tennessee cap, orange undershirt, and hold a nerf football in my hands during games.

My wife actually takes the kids ad leaves the house. She loves that I am such a fan but hates being around me on GameDays. I have my rituals, game day clothes etc. (which are being washed as we speak)...as you can see I am very superstitious. But I yell, scream, cuss etc. Does it help? I like to think so. But iof something is going wrong I do try to change the karma as GAVol said by either taking my hat off, switching seats or whatever.... and I love it! Dang this just got me real fired up for tomorrow! I can;t wait. GO VOLS!!!

I wear my Vols hat, shirt and sweat pants. I have my Vols slammer that plays Rocky Top (which i slam after any Vols score). My wife thinks i'm nuts. She just does'nt understand what being a Vol fan is all about. Yelling at the ref's, jumping up and down after a score. It's great to be a Vols fan.

During the 2nd half of the LSU game, I had a strong gut feeling that we would get an INT.

On the set up for the 3rd down play, I was pace around saying "House it" out loud over and over. I knew it was coming. Hefney didn't house it but it was damn close.

I congratulated myself outloud afterwards then I realized I was talking to myself  :D
