As in the game show Jeopardy, little known facts like the fight song for WKU,,,,

Stand Up and Cheer

Stand up and cheer
Stand up and cheer for dear old Western
For today we raise
The red and white above the rest
Our team is fighting
And they are bound to win this fray
We’ve got the team
We’ve got the steam
For this is dear old Western’s day!

I see a lot of sit down and shut up coming......Maybe a new fight song title after Saturday!

Could we at least be respectful to the people that come to the game......Nothing is worse than some idiot gloating over a game that should be won by 100 points ! Cheer for the squad, take pride in the win (when it happens), but please don't rub it in like we just beat FL. Some of these folks live near us and have kids from TN, who just didn't have the ability, height, weight, speed- whatever to wear Orange. Either way, for fans to "pile on" after a game were supposed to win............makes us Georgia.
Thanks for the Class I'm sure we'll show.

please dont boo

Volnation this is so true.. Please remember we have a qb visiting us this weekend who we have a chance at landing. We already lost one prospect at qb last year due to all the booing the was happening at Neyland. As bad as I wanted to sometimes you just have to let it go and PLEASE DONT BOO him no matter what happens. You know if he does have a bad series or two and we still show we support him now we might just end up with MR BRAY come NSD. And I dont think anyone hear would hate to see that happen. Come out be loud in support and lets blow Neyland up this Saturday in the dawn of a new era at UT.

Hey, those Kentucky jerks stole our fight song!

Ohio University's fight song, entitled "Stand Up and Cheer," has been sung as an "athletic song" since the early 1900s. The song's words and theme were adapted from a previous melody, originally composed by Paul McNeely.

"Stand Up and Cheer"

Stand up and cheer,
Cheer loud and long for old Ohio,
For today we raise
The Green and White above the rest.

Our teams are fighting
And they are bound to win the fray.
We've got the team,
We've got the steam,
For this is old Ohio's day!
Rah! Rah! Rah!
