me, i'm laughing when the tubas have to do that bow thing in like 4 counts in the middle of the show.

Also, watch this and at the bow, see if you can find the sucker who lost his shako and had people kicking it around everywhere. One actually punted the thing at the end! Skip to like 4:30 to see it. He's near the left 45 yard line.

I've kicked a couple hats in my day. That may have been me. I didn't lose it, I just kicked it...Who knows?

Sorry, we did perform the circle drill at the Cotton Bowl in 1969 but we first performed the circle at the Orange Bowl in 1968. I remember we had not scored by half time at the Orange Bowl and then the band performed "zeros" according to the Oklahoma fans!! Of course we just lost the game by two points I believe.....it was a very demanding show but we knew how special it was..

I wanted to clarify my position on the circle drill. No doubt it's the most difficult routine I've ever seen a band perform, I just don't think Bill should have to say that it is. I'm from the school where the baddest kid on the block doesn't have to say so, everyone knows. Tennessee fans know already, and the visitors figure it out pretty damn quick.

Also, again, I like Bill Williams. I'd just rather hear the Pride play than Bill talk.
