Interesting article in News-Sentinel today that touched on stadium a bit

Also requested to be closed is the whole length of Todd Helton Drive, from Volunteer to its end at Chamique Holdsclaw Drive and Pat Head Summitt Street, a distance of about 2,300 feet.
The stated intention for the street is almost the same as for Volunteer, but adds that room is needed for “potential expansion of the baseball stadium.”
By "close" they don't mean close the roadway but take away the city right-of-way and turn it over the school.
Would love to see the curve behind stadium eliminated and the right and center field walks pushed back with some bleacher seating (students perhaps) behind the wall.
Reading between the lines, it appears LNS is still the long term plan for baseball
