Any chance we get any of these guys? Or all three? We need immediate help on the d line and these guys especially McGee could be huge additions.

I'd say there is a 99% chance we don't get all three. Maybe 2/3 if we're lucky. Stacey McGee is someone who's been on my wishlist for a while now.

Guy is the best chance. He has had us as a favorite for a while and plans on committing in October. He has us at the top with ASU(I think) next. McGee, I've heard, is down to OU and UT, but I'd give OU the lead since they are the home state school. Coples is still wide open, though I'd give UNC the lead.

I dont understand why you would say we need immediate help on the d-line. :whistling:

At this point freshman Dts would be better than what we have.

Our ends are the worst ever as well. Ben Martin needs to be starting because mitchell and reynolds dont know what a sack is unless they are at Krystals.

Lawrence Guy just took a visit to Oklahoma and says it is 50-50 between Tennessee and Oklahoma. He says: "It was a good visit, but I'm looking at Tennessee now, I've gotten more into Tennessee since we talked last. It's more 50-50 now between the two of them. I've set up a visit to (Knoxville) on Nov. 2," he said.

This seems very good for us. He also mentioned that: "I liked the campus, but man there is a lot of farmland out there. It's a little bit of an adjustment, but I liked it." (refering to Oklahoma)

I think we are seeing that the immediate help at DL was not as dire as some of you feared. We have young talent. Bolden, Williams, and Fisher are playing well right now. I hope we start to see Martin and Walker some more at DE as we go along. I think both of them are going to be very good DE's in the near future.

I think Guy is going to verbal to UT after the visit. I think we might be in better shape with the Miami trio than some think. That would put us in the running for the DT in that group. They say they are all going to the same school.

Sean Spence, Aldarius Johnson, Marcus Forston

They are all committed to Miami with about 1 or 2 other teammates.

there's an article on knoxnews.com about Spence and his visit to Knoxville for the Georgia game. Sounds like he was pretty impressed with the atmosphere and all, but it's hard not to be if all you've ever been around is the Orange Bowl.

the Miami Trio will continue to be the Miami trio for the next few years... no way we get those guys.

Nope, no chance. Problem is that there is like 4-5 committed to Miami and, unless we pulled all of them(which would be a monstrous coup), we won't get any of them.

And yeah, we'd take any of them individually.
