Where ya at Kpt? I know you're coming in here!! Tell me again how many YPC he had against Auburn in 2008 & yadda yadda yadda. He should just speak dinosaur to the refs and maybe they'll give it back to him....oh wait, they don't speak Pterodactyls....let's hope the scouts do.

But let me tell you what happened. The QB (Pat White) was supposed to run a fake handoff to a screen. Instead he tried to give the ball to Arian while Arian was trying to go out for the pass. The ball went to the ground. Also on that play, Arian pulled his hamstring trying to recover the ball and is likely out for the rest of the week.

Not that the truth matters to any of you, but that's what happened. Up to that point, Arian has had a very strong showing.

Now he'll head back to AZ for treatment, healing and training for the combine.

Amazing how one kid, who did nothing but play his heart out for YOUR team, gets zero respect. Simply amazing.

The next time that you see the players stating their name and where they went to school at in the beginning of the game, try to remember how many players actually say "THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE". I bet Arian will. Still....

So Arian won't play in the Senior Bowl, Bernadette? That's a real shame. I was looking forward to seeing how he did.

Arian has the right idea and he laughs off comments like this thread. He knows the truth. Keep doing what you do Arian. Success will follow.

Arian's ok. I actually just like giving Kpt a hard time. Met Arian's dad once...managed a hotel in Nashville. Nice enough guy.

His dinosaur comments were childish & not needed IMO.

A nice enough guy, huh? Wow.

You don't have the details on the "dinosaur comments" either. But I wouldn't expect that that would change your mind anyway...

I agree with his mom. He did play hard here. There is no need to be bashing him. I wish him only the best. I'd love to see him playing on Sunday next year

Fostermom, you've got to try to take some of these guys comments with a grain of salt, as hard as that may be.
I hate this for Arian (the hammy), he had a real good showing yesterday from what I saw.

I'm thankful for the heart he showed while playing for my alma mater, and wish him all the luck in the future.

Please fill us in. I thought they were hilarious. It was what most of the media deserves

Well, our meeting was brief so I can't really "glow" over meeting Arian's dad. He was genuinely pleasant and well mannered...not exactly Will Smith but not Colin Powell either. Nice enough guy seemed to fit from the 30 minutes I met with him. I'm sure he's super.

Look, I'm a parent too...he's in 2nd grade. I don't totally get where you're coming from because he hasn't been quoted in the papers yet (he's 8, give him a break:)). But when my son and your son are running around making the same freaking noises, I really don't wanna hear the story. He's in a position to represent the university, his teammates, and his family....he should know better as our senior running back. If there were some reason he would be running around making dinosaur noises...like a coach told him to, then he should have made a statement clearing the air, IMO.

I'm sure he's a great kid....& I would defend mine too....I hope the scouts love him and he has a long, profitable career in the NFL injury free.

Just remember Fostermom when someone is in the national spotlight they are subject to criticism like anyone else might be. There plenty more people that appreciate your son's dedication and hardwork than the people who condone him.

Hopefully Arian can get over the hammy and put up some good numbers at the combine.

Hit the nail on the head there.
Everyone gets frustrated and its easy for armchair quarterbacks to put the blame on someone.

Fostermom, people bashed Erik Ainge on here relentlessly his SR year. Now they wish we had him back this year.

I hope Arian has a full recovery. I cross my fingers the Eagles pick him up!

I think it had a little to do with Fulmer telling him not to discuss the botched exchange between he and Crompton. I really don't know, though.

Don't worry too much what we say here. It will not affect your son's future in the least. I would say that if he keeps trying as hard as he is, he will succeed in life despite his critics. Remember most of us have never played in a college FB game in our life. It's always easier to criticize then create. :hi:

You could be right...& your new avatar is scaring me...can you switch it back to Magnum, lol?

Kpt, what years were you in school?

We called that pesky fake hand off screen, at the worst possible times in games.

Who cares what people say on message boards?

If you get offended over meaningless comments about Arian dropping the ball.

I sure hope he doesn't go to a New York team, the media would drive you nuts.
