Not sure why there isn't a thread for this series but whatever.

Spurs take game one.

Could you imagine if it were this years Clippers team against one of the Spurs teams of years past? The flopping would be incredible

Don't worry. The spurs still know how to get it done.

Manu still flops with the best of them, and TP isn't opposed to mopping the floor a little.

Eric Blesdsoe had a great game last night. This kid has unlimited potential.

Looks like he will be an all-star caliber player.

Those two are definitely older now, their new guys aren't nearly as bad with it as damn near the whole team used to be.

I think the Clippers will win a game and no more. So, not much of a series. I'll watch because it's playoff basketball.

I would have started a thread but I've tried to limit my time on here since I like to get drunk during Pacers games and generally end up getting angry when I comment.

It always felt like the Spurs were in control but the Clippers kept finding ways to hang close after falling into a hole. At one point the Clippers got it within 92-82 or something like that but could do nothing from there.

Spurs turned the ball over a lot, which could be expected after such a long lay over. I was pretty impressed with how the Clippers played though.

As of right now the Spurs are the best team in the NBA. With Paul and Griffin hurt, the Clippers are all but finished.

They wouldn't have won the series regardless of their health but it would have been more competitive I believe.

Spurs vs OKC will be a great series.

Worth the read.

31-11 Clippers after 1.

Wow...

Guessing the Spurs will still come back to win though.

Hate that I'm not going to be here for the 2nd half. Spurs have cut the Clippers lead to 10. 53-43 at the half.

Anyways... hope everyone has a good day!

I'm at work, heard the Spurs were down by 20+. Took a break a few minutes later and Spurs are up by 10 all the sudden.

Popping in quick to say I've lost some respect for Pop.

Repeatedly fouling Evans with almost 3 minutes left is a sad display of basketball.

I understand doing it with under a minute or whatever but talk about ruining the fun of the game when you do it with almost 1/4 of a quarter left. It's like watching a 3 round fight and a fighter chooses to run away the final round because he won the first 2 rounds. Come on... play basketball.
