It seems the obc has lost his fire. Man I hope Kiffin and Co. demolish that whole dang team.

The special teams quote, ha. I got a laugh on that one. Steve didn't seem too interested in that press conference.

i live in erwin tn about 20 miles from johnson city tn where spurrier is from. for years ia have admired spurrier even thou i admired tenn more. Now that kiffin is here I think kiffin based on all info is better than spurrier and i believe ut is about to roll BIG TIME. I graduated from ut in 1990 in Biology and since i was 16 have been diehard ut fan. I am so excited.

I agree. I've never watched one of his press conferences before but his opening statement was him mailing it in. His answers to questions were pretty lifeless until he thought of a quip he could throw in.

I just didn't see any fire at all. Maybe he's always like that but I doubt it.

When asked about the D scheme he said we were good. He's either being cagy and not revealing what he knows about our scheme or somewhat disinterested -- probably somewhere in between.

Kinda explains his lack of success at USCe

I think he's funny. He always poor mouths btw... but sometimes it is tongue in cheek.

That is the weirdest video I've ever seen of the guy. He usually jokes and carries on... he barely seems interested in talking football. Wonder if Fulmer will replace him at JR?

He still has the fire. He's just finally realized and accepted that he isn't in Florida anymore. His goofy players constantly find ways to screw up any coaching he's given them. Looks like he's just momentarily defeated. Maybe some luck will come his way , just hopefully not this Saturday. After that, I'm pulling for him cause I hate to see good coaches (and yes he is still a great coach) fail because of half assed play on the team's part.
