thats awesome. I have a strong desire to win, almost over the top sometimes, but one thing that i hammer in my players is sportsmanship..

They talked about this story on Mike and Mike this morning, i love those kinds of stories.

Given that Northern Illinois is in DeKalb, I'm not surprised the folks from there realize real life trumps the scoreboard.

I totally agree. My team has won the Sportsmanship Award each of the last two years at our (Dizzy Dean) World Series tournaments. The tournament has a field of 48 teams in our age group. I'm very proud of the boys.
