I drove to look at the ‘68 Nolan Ryan/Koosman, one more time and the place was closed.
So on the way back I settled for these two for $25.
I basically got the Judge for free.

I posted in the comic book thread that I’m turning my basement workshop into a comic/puzzle room. Wife agreed to it because it cleared boxes of comics out of our closet and keeps me from having puzzles spread out on the dining table for weeks.

Do you have a space you can make a card shop? I bet you have a lot of good ones to display.

Hahaha. Well, that’s where I was for a while. But the kids got into it too, and now I get to have fun with it. Got some j-trim to display comics on the wall, and my daughter is doing a mural in the room for me. It’s been fun.

Today’s show was kinda meh.
I picked up a couple for my ‘78 set, my Diamond Kings sets, my Purina set, a sweet Murph and Niekro, a Hank Aaron, my first Campanella for my catchers collection, a Pee Wee and something I normally don’t even give a second thought to, but I’m a big classic movie fan and I went down the rabbit hole of 1934 Player and sons, movie star tobacco cards.

Question. A couple moved out of one of our rentals and left behind probably close to a thousand baseball/football cards. What would be the best way to find out what they're worth?

Over the weekend I finally started a project that I have needed to do for a long while and that is getting my PC organized into a database. So I have been cataloging my pc cards into a spreadsheet while at the same time logging them at tcdb.com.

This will allow me to look and see if I have a certain card or not while at a show etc...

I haven't looked at them that close, it's a collection of binders and boxes. I know there's several in the boxes that are in sleeves (for lack of a better word).

There is a store in town that trades in card and sports memorabilia, think it's worth a shot to take them in there and have them take a look?
