Wife and I took our older son to Splash Country today and had a great time. I was pretty impressed with some of the rides. It was crowded at first, but a little "rain delay" sent home about 3/4 of the crowd. After that, it was smooth sailing.

The straight-down drop was pretty crazy. And, the tight, swirling slides that are completely dark inside were pretty cool, too.

All in all, it made our pricey season passes to the two parks worth the money.

My parents love to go and ride in the lazy river. I have not been up there in years. Glad you had a good time.

We went 2 weeks ago. It was our second trip in the past few years and we decided to get the season passes next year. We love it!

I like White Water in the outskirts of Atlanta better than Splash Country. For everyone in the Chattanooga area, they are building a water park in East Ridge, right on Ringgold Road close to Nice Cars. It should be open next summer. I think it's gonna be called Splash Valley.

This is way off topic but my days and long nights at Erlanger have led me to count the days until I get out of Chattanooga. I am looking forward to heading back to East Tn and getting my life going again with my wife. Good luck with the VW plant and all the work Chatt is doing to make itself a better city but the dregs of the city are just dragging me down. This will be my last stint in an inner city hospital. I am too old to deal with all that crap.

Chin up, brother. Your seat at the poker table is still being saved!
