i don't post often but i was thinking with kiffin as new coach will we get a special teams coach. i know florida has one and look at what they do on almost a weekly basis, and considering we haven't had punt/kickoff return for a touchdown in many years i think it would be a good thing to have a s/t coach. thoughts?

Who is Florida's special teams coach? To my knowledge, Florida doesn't have one.

No biggie. Welcome to the board. They find special teams so important and put such an emphasis that Meyer's coaches them himself. Everyone on the team wants to be on special teams.

Saw the piece on College GameDay about the way Meyer feels about special teams...Would be very nice if UT would get somebody that feels the same way...The Vols need alot of help in that area....

He treats those kids that play special teams for Florida like kings...First in the food line and everything...

I know. Im a Titans fan. I was just kidding.

Gotcha...people were suggesting Jeff Fisher, Heimerdinger and Jim Schwartz a while back...while it's natural to think what you know...hiring away Titans personnel could be really divisive towards the Middle Tennessee fanbase...

Screw em! If their allegiance is for the Titans then they are not really Vol fans are they?

You want the Titans and Vols to succeed. If the Vols take all the Titans good coaches and they started sucking, people would be mad.

I can't think of any Titans coaches that came to TN.
Of course Lane might have his programs best interests in mind and try and hire the best for his program unlike Foolmer.
