Just a few thoughts:

-the strip is embarrassing. Went to the bookstore and it was closed. Restaurants closed one after another. Bums just hanging out on the decks and properties of the restaurants. That's what everybody sees, so the ugliness sucks
-if you weigh 400 and it's 90 degrees, just stay home. The revaporization of whatever that was didn't smell good
-people eating Petros in that heat deserve whatever happens
-sundresses are great. Always have been.
-I've never seen Jaques Smith play one play with the energy he was jumping around with before the game
-Sterling Hinton dj's during warmups. It was cool, then it got old, then the music sounded all the same
-the Orange Pride is mos def still around.
-thought the crowd was great and 90% full 15 minutes prior to kickoff
-tickets were hard to find for a lot of people, but not me because I know people
-UT basketball players wore Butch Please tanks, which was cool, but several were cutting up and paying zero respect during the Anthem, which I thought sucked. Hope somebody saw them and corrects that.
-No highstepper in the band this year because I think the lead person is a chick
-Worley was off with some throws as expected, but his arm isn't weak. He just doesn't try to rifle every throw. He does need to go ahead and get rid of it and get the ball in the right spot, but did a good job.
-Tim Priest needs to stop trying to get the guys to talk about last year vs this year. If the kids are mentally strong enough to let it go, stop freaking asking them to rehash it.
-sideline demeanor and focus was good to see.

The Strip is looking ruff won't really start looking better till they start the road construction after the season. It's going to be a two lane road with a huge turn lane and wider sidewalks.

No more pride in the Pride of the Southland. Shameful.
