South Carolina is officially USCjr/lite

By the time trojans lose 3 or 4 more games this year and go through the loss of 30 scholarships the next 3, they will probably be considered USC lite.

Not unless South Carolina wins a national championship and a Heisman every year for the next decade.

Any chance we can get our UT title trademarked? I'm tired of the posers in hickville referring to themselves as UT, and get our effing T off your equipment.

Austin is hardly hickville, but they already have "UT" on lockdown. I don't know one person outside of the south that refers to tennessee as UT. I've gotten in the habit of just saying tennesse just to avoid confusing people.

Texas owns the rights to zero UT domains. That's all you need to know. Not sure why you're defending Texas over Tennessee to begin with.

I'm not defending anything. Screw muck brown and the cows. But say "UT" to anybody west of the Mississippi and north of the mason Dixon and they're thinking Texas.

Up here in the midwest, it seems almost no one says UT in regards to either team. It's just Tennessee or Texas. When I do hear it, it seems like it can be used to refer to Tennessee without much confusion.

I've been running into this problem regularly in Denver.

I spent 30 minutes at the bar giving a lecture to some Texas, Nebraska, and Colorado fans on the history of the University of Tennessee and the University of Texas, the logo lawsuits and controversies, the abbreviation schemes of western teams vs. eastern teams, the "Power T," and why Texas owes everything to Tennessee and Tennessee owes them nothing.

I conclude with an analysis of why Texas is the most underachieving college football program in history.

Everyone but the Texas fans love it. Like, I receive applause.
