Ok this was on the radio today and I was curious if anyone else heard it. Jimmy Hyams said that Lane Kiffin is projected to hire 6 nfl coaches to become apart of his staff. My question is does anyone have any insight into who those 6 could be???

1. Monte Kiffin (Defensive Coordinator - Tampa Bay Bucs)
2. Ed Orgeron (Defensive Line Coach - New Orleans Saints)
3. James Cregg (Offensive Line Coach - Oakland Raiders)
4. ?
5. ?
6. ?

Does anyone know who 4,5,6 would or could possibly be? Anyone heard any names out there? I know for a fact that we will be getting a NFL Special Teams coach... not exactly who it is... but I know for a fact that one of the ?'s will be for a Special Teams coach.

I'm assuming James Cregg is replacing Adkins. I'm curious to see who we replace Stan Drayton with... Here's a suggestion, what about Reggie Cobb, former RB for Tennessee who is now a RB coach for Tampa Bay... Sounds interesting to me.

Schneider, Joe Whitt Jr and skipper would be the 3rd would be my guess.

I sure hope we have an actual special teams coach. I have been wanting one for years.

It will be a huge hire in my mind. I would almost bet the farm Schneider will be here. Looks promising...

Nah, Skipper will be a RB coach or TE coach. Not both.

Schneider is the most likely name for STs.

Looks possible that Kiffin may bring a bulk of his staff from the Raiders because Rathman, Skipper, and Schneider were all with him.

Yogi Roth maybe? Or scott could be retained if he doesn't head to BGSU. Of all the staff left, I wouldn't mind seeind scott stay. Especially if it boils down to him or drayton. I look at Drayton much like Adkins...the sooner they're out of knoxville the better.

Special teams is something Tennessee used to be known for......I couldn't believe our special teams had gone so bad over the last several years......hire somebody to make it look like we used to.

Is it bad that I don't know who any of these people are other than Monte Kiffin and Orgeron?

He appears to be a college scout for the Bucs.

That would be SAAAWEEET if Kiff could get Cobb back to Knoxville, provided Cobb knows how to coach RB's...
