If Kamara, Reeves-Maybin, and Sutton return AND we get Shoop, we should go ahead and buy our SECCG tickets now, and put a hold on our playoff tickets.

Where is the Natty game being held this next season? I need to reserve a few hotel rooms.

I hope we done have Shoop signed to a deal. And he is going back to tell his players he is leaving for Tennessee. And maybe have a press conference Sunday.

Press conference or no press conference, the world will know within 15 minutes of Penn State's players getting out of their last meeting with Bob Shoop. Large groups of players do not keep secrets.

p.s. That is if James Franklin allows a last meeting with the players. Would be petty not to, but let's not make any assumptions about Franklin's character.

You people need to slow down on this playoff talk. If we don't develop a better down field passing game, we have zero chance at making the playoffs. Line has to protect, Dobbs has to read the coverage better, deliver an accurate ball, and the receivers have to get open. It never fails, when a defense gets in our faces, and blitzes, we fail in one of these phases. We can not screen pass our way through pressure, defenses are looking for it, and will continue to if we do not back them off with an effective passing game.

No assumptions necessary. It's more than obvious what kind of character guy Franklin is.

Agreed playoff in 2016 is nothing to count on. However,

1. OLine made a LOT of progress this year, can be expected to get even better over the next 8 months. This is no longer a position of weakness for the Vols.
2. Dobbs is great at situational awareness (his reads); that was never a shortcoming of his, and has become a true strength over the '15 season.
3. Agree entirely on throw accuracy and WR skill sets.
4. Nonetheless, we were 9-4 and whisker-close to 11-2 with what we had in '15; we'll be better in '16, against a weaker OOC game (Va Tech vs. OK) and a weaker FL.

Let's at least talk confidently about chances of getting to Atlanta. We'll let the playoffs work themselves out after that.

Go Vols!

Close to being 14-0.
