Lol, its funny because its true.

I wonder if Kiffin will change the Cleat-chasing sorority escort - err hostess tradition of the old regime for the recruits.

Good idea, maybe he will get some campus fanboys to show the recruits around.

Besides, UT is hardly the only school that uses females for that role.

they should be a little pickier when they choose the hostesses. Most are great looking, but a few look like they eaten quite a few hostess cupcakes.

Maybe things change, but I knew a few of those chicks when I was in school and they were anything but escorts.

after the whole Colorado fiasco several years ago, the NCAA has put the kibosh on the female escorts. they even used to have their own section in the media guide.

it's now players only and they get paid 30 dollars to let the recruit follow them around for the weekend.

They still have a hostess though, right? you're talking about what EB did with Janzen Jackson...lead him around campus all day?

I wouldn't want to be the one calling EB a hostess. I think the proper term would be superior role model!!!

EB for NC MVP!

I am sorry but that is pathetic

Running back Arian Foster, who likely had the most on the line as NFL scouts and coaches evaluate talent for the draft, had a result listed only in the bench press. His 23 reps with 225 pounds were about average for running backs here, according to fantasyplayers.com, a website tracking the combine.

Tackle Ramon Foster didn’t help himself with a 5.57 in the 40-yard dash, among the slowest times posted. His 20 reps in the bench likely didn’t impress pro personnel either.

an OL got out benched by his RB??

At 210lbs, 22 years of age, and being out of organized sports for 4 years, I did 20 reps while doing my own workouts in my spare time.

There is no excuse why a D1 offensive linemen going into the NFL combine shouldn't do at least 25-30 reps. That is POOR S&C by the coach and the player. Both seem to be proven lazy.

If I am not mistaken these are the two that were the most outspoken out Phil being fired.

Robert Ayers did 18 reps and struggled before dropping the 19th rep on his chest at the combine, so 18 was the official.

Compare that to Rodgers-Cromartie from last year's combine... dude weighed like 185 and did 17 reps. That is PITYFUL.

Orakpo almost doubled Ayers' numbers. They're similiar height/weight, but very different composition.

All of these low rep numbers and slow 40's at the combine will soon change. We actually have a good S&C now.

Long was a heck of a towel waver, but as for S&C I dont think he was very good. Did he go anywhere after he was let go??

Fulmer did these kids no favors. He was to soft on them and was more concerned about being their father figure than their coach. Now they are paying for it. It's pretty obvious why none of these players wanted to lose soft Phil.

This proves two things to me:

1.) CLK's talk about nobody outworking has some merit...

AND

2.) All the talk we heard about hard work and commitment to the weightroom under Fulmer's regime was all just a load of crap

Every team needs well conditioned players, obviously, but I think because the Tampa 2 defense has such an emphasis on flying to the ball, speed, and athleticism of the players, we will see that this conditioning will likely prove to be a huge impact on an already good defense.

It is funny how we are all so happy and excited as a result of seeing their Facebook status' describing how miserable they feel.

Long was horrble but now we seem to be on the right track. Also was Stuckey right before long or was there someone in between?
