Not complaining, but I've been to other stadiums as I'm sure a lot of you have as well. I sat in the endzone we kicked the game winning field goal (section L). I could not hear anything all night. At best just loud noises. Do you think an upgrade is coming? I'll hang up and listen.

OK. I thought that they meant three speakers sharing one axis. I'm used to marketing speak not always fitting the literal meaning of the terms used.

Coaxial speakers share the same pole or axis, but not triaxial’s.

Some 3 way speakers (even an old 6x9) may be a “coaxial” with a separate 3rd speaker (usually tweeter or super tweeter) but they would not really be considered a “triaxial.”

Yeah. My brain's back online after sleeping.

You think it’s bad? Saturday night was an upgrade, that’s the best it’s been all season.

You definitely can’t hear anything playing on the Jumbotron and no chance at hearing the ref make a call. At least that’s the case in the endzones right now. No idea about the east and west sidelines.

I sit in the endzone also very close to the field. Even when it's relatively quiet you can't hear anything from the speakers. The fans on the east and west sidelines clearly can because they react somewhat and everyone around me asks " what did they call?".

The refs use a series of hand signals to describe the penalties and instant replay reviews. Sorry people can't hear but is their view also obstructed? If so, I would sell those tickets for under face value. That said I need 2 for the Kentucky game.

Go Vols!

I’m not sure I heard anything the entire second half of the 98 season , I did hear the sound of footsteps headed back to the ball park after Arkansas fumble though.

Think the crowd has anything to do with that?

We are 6-0 but I guess there is always something to complain about.

I’ve sat in the same seat in the south endzone close to the field for more than 15 years. There has been a negative change to the stadium sound system since CoVid. Even for the Oklahoma game we could hear the PA but we can’t understand anything after the Star Spangle Banner, even the “gentlemen please remove your cap” is garbled
