Me and my son have officially entered the coffee snob zone. He ordered 3 lbs of Columbian organic regenerative farming green coffee beans for $30. This monring, he put a trial run medium/light medium roast on a few handfuls in the iron skillet on the stove top. He called me to tell me it was pretty darn good. Tasted a bit like the Ethiopian we like. Was supposed to rest a day or two before grinding but he couldn't help himself so he brewed a little. I'm gonna give it a try in the morning.
Also, I discovered Natural Bliss makes a creamer in Pistaccio. Quite good.
Edit (the morning after): Brewed some of his home roast this morning. To my surprise, it was very good. He did a great job.
