Before the game started (With about 80% Vol fans there) the PA Guy did their pre-game stuff and said...

Gimme a V!

So everyone goes V

Gimme an A!

You here a mix of A's and O's...then people caught on.

Gimme an N

L!

Gimme a D

S!

Then you couldn't even here him say the Y because everyone was doing the G-O V-O-L-S chant. It was hilarious because all you could hear was the Vol's chant and none of the Vandy fans.

Then when the Vols ran out onto the field before Vandy it was just really really loud cheering, and when the "home" team ran out it sounded like when Alabama runs out at Neyland...just a huge chorus of boo's.

I just thought it was funny and kinda embarrassing for Vandy to have their stadium taken over like that.

The commentator on tv last night said it looked like a UT home game with all the orange there, then the camera panned the stadium. Awesome!!!!

Here is our side and the other side. Our side was probably 95% Vol fans and the other side was about 50/50.

IMO the funniest thing at the the game was Vandy's big Taco Bell/ticket promotion. "VANDY FANS, BE SURE TO LOOK ON THE BACK OF YOUR TICKET! IF VANDY SCORES 14 POINTS OR MORE YOU MAY REDEEM A FREE TACO FROM TACO BELL!!!!"
I have not been able to sleep all night worried about those two starving Vandy fans that were actually at the game.

lmfao yeah that was funny, too. When they announced that the whole stadium started laughing...needless to say, Taco Bell hasn't had much business from Vandy fans this year.

Vandy's fan base is just plain terrible. The crowd was almost completely blue for the game against Florida this year.

I thought it was funny seeing a Fulmer look alike as Vandy's coach.

Their jumbotron was an embarrassment. They hardly showed any replays, and the graphics they used (the Defense coming out of the fire) was something from early 90s high tech. I'll tell ya, MTSU puts on a better show. Heck, UTC does as well. Maybe we should replace Vandy with one of them as their fans actually care about sports.

You mean you didn't get your free White Castle hambuger coupon? They were giving out prizes in the Vandy student section and passing out coupons for a single hamburger.

I thought the funniest thing was that biggest cheer of the night came after Anthony Anderson's fielded fair catch. Awesome!

1.Didn't hear the boos, but that's hilarious.
2. The Taco Bell thing was funny.
3. The PA guy was doing a plug for some charity, he said " X charity has helped over 90,000 people. Ladies and Gentlemen, that's enough to fill this stadium 3x"
4. The replays (all 5 of them) were pitiful.
5. It has to be disheartening when the stadium gets loud while your (home team) on offense. Totally backwards.

With anybody (people on here) who has ever played a sport where you have to throw something would have played QB for them the whole game, we would have had our butts whipped. I am not pleased with the play but happy to have won. That QB sure did stink, and I mean one of the worst performances I have ever seen.

I thought that too. Glad to see someone else thought so. Thats pretty bad when you get cheered for a successful fair catch. That is all we should do from now on, FAIR CATCH BABY!

I thought the funniest was Vandy fans talking a lot of smack prior to game and most of the fans left at halftime or early in the 3rd. There is no game day experience at all as demonstrated by their horrible attempt to "Show your Gold" at Vandyville. I can say that I have seen UT play at Vandy around 10 times and each time it get more and more laughable.

The only come back their fans say " You will work for us in 10 years. Your football tradition is JOKE...no wait your have no traditon Period.
