Well, Miami is on a winning streak so he can't write another op-ed about LeBron.

Wojo is a great writer and while he is correct this is all a product of the highlight culture, him putting himself on the cross was predictable and unnecessary. When he has the nerve to go after the NBA for featuring the video, I'll give his opinion some weight.

That article was stupid. Of course they're going to keep coming back for more, that's what they get paid to do. The NBA does have some moments where dudes get absolutely clowned (Griffin on Perkins last year), but it ain't pickup ball at the park.

Sometimes I swear Simmons is the only good writer out there when it comes to the NBA.

. ...he gets credit for trying to make the play by his coaches.

Everyone else is free to clown him. He's a grown man and a professional. He'll be okay.

God forbid someone try to make a defensive play. The Wojnarowski article is dead on. This stupid dick-waving among fans is the dumbest thing about following the NBA.
One can still have it both ways. I catch crap off my coworkers all the time when I fail at something, even if I went about it the right way. Same thing happens in ball. I doubt anybody is seriously suggesting Knight shouldn't have gone for that ball.

dick waving?

I wasn't specifically referring to Arencibia's post, if that's what you're asking. I just mean the whole damn chest-beating culture among basketball fans. My player is a bigger man than your player. I know more about basketball and you're an idiot. A guy tries and fails to make a defensive play and he doesn't just fail, he gets killed, raped, has his manhood taken away. The whole prevailing attitude among fans of the sport is just stupid.

I get it. If you didn't root for the Hawks I would agree... but you do therefore you are wrong and most likely a pussy.

Uh oh. Not Bill Walton has weighed in

@NotBillWalton: Instead of ridicule, @WojYahooNBA wants us to celebrate Brandon Knight's effort. Perhaps we could hand out Capri Suns & orange slices too.
