The #1 recruiting class we had in '06 and the #4 class in 07 are now Juniors and Sophmores. The bulk of the team, seeing that true Freshman dont really play for us. Why is it that we look like we are sorely outclassed when it comes to talent when we play UGA, Florida, Auburn and to an extent, even UCLA? Is it the actual telnt not panning out, or is it the coaching?

We're mostly outcoached which makes it look we're outclassed. A lot of our players could be truly great if we had the staffing to develop them...just my opinion though.

'05 and '07 classes were outstanding (top-5). '06 class was very poor, by UT standards (#23 Rivals).

Yeah, and then people say we are just average talented wise. Don't understand that. Bottom line is the coaches have what Fulmer would say, "gone stupid"

N.I gave us fits two weeks ago and average of their class position over the last couple of years, below (100). What's wrong with that picture

I think the answer is obvious by now. It has been 7 years since anything significant has been done by Phil Fulmer.

Johnny Majors would have been gone after 2005.

Top classes are great but, first, needs have to be met. I just don't think the talent is there in the trenches.

I guess by "significant," you are including an inexcusable SECCG loss?

Slick Shelley is playing well at Tulsa, FYI.

yeah, and he was a "bust" here, that's why he left, he would've been doomed to be another Quentin Hancock, spring baller only.........I remember the wrap on Slick was that he couldn't get any separation.......apparently, he's getting alot of it now, bc/ he's averaging almost 20 yards per catch.......I guess he's eatin' his WHEATIES...........
