It must be a requirement for the HFC to be in a TV commercial with a football sponsor.. Kiffin-- Food Lion? Dooley-- First Tennessee Bank. Butch-- FTB, Mailboxes Etc., Farm Bureau Insurance. Now CJP with Farm Bureau.

There's history here. In the old days the TN legislature had it so that the head ball coaches at UT couldn't advertise for $$$. John Ward did the Golden Flake commercials instead. Even Archie Manning did the Yella Fella as rather than the head football coach (it's a disease Jimmy). The other SEC schools used those $$$ to supplement salaries and UT was having to pony up all of the dough. They get paid to do the hockey commercials now.....
