Somebody please tell the Defense........

at the start of the UF game that it is the 3rd quarter. They seemed to step it up last night in the second half and we can't afford to play 30 minutes of football with UF.

The d-line getting a little bit of a push made all the difference in the world. Although he broke containment a couple of times for some decent runs, the Southern Miss QB was nowhere near as good throwing the ball when we made him move his feet a little.

I agree. We have to get better against UF or it could be ugly. The Defense is the biggest question mark in my opinion with special teams a close second.

I would like to see someone stand up Tebow and someone else level him.

granted they didn't do a whole lot in the first half, but the defense stepped up and held USM to 107 yds in the second half. I thought I was one of the most negative people on this board, but to hear the rest of you describe our defense, you'd think pee-wee football could score on us

you are agreeing with exactly what I am saying. Whatever got them motivated for the second half (3rd quarter) do it at the begininng of the game and don't wait til half.

We can't start the same way against UF. D has to play 4 solid quarters.

What could of motivated them was the second string D-line in there.IOW, if you dont show up you will be replaced !!
