It was a TD, refs changed the rules on the spot. Unless the SEC tries to say that now soon as a QB starts getting sacked the play is dead. Seems like that might make things tough on the way the game is played though right? Guess we'd be playing flag football then.

The SEC Refs kept the game just inside the money line in Vegas (Cause they are in on it). The fans reacted accordingly, throwing golf balls and mustard in response to completely BS unbelievable calls. Fans are called out by everyone, all over the place, to protect the Vegas money.

That's just stupid.

Did the refs commit clear holding penalties on back to back 4th quarter possessions to kill any momentum?

Did the refs fumble a punt and give Ole Miss the ball at the goal line after the defense basically stopped them twice?

Did the refs drop multiple passes that should have been big plays? Or overthrow receievers that didn't have a defender within 10 yards? Or practice the vaunted Ole! pass blocking technique letting OM get pressure with 3 (three!!) rushers vs 5 linemen blocking? Or let Matt Corral run QB draw for about a trillion yards?

No, of course not. We do not have the talent or depth to shoot ourselves in the foot repeatedly and beat a decent/good team. We had a ton of chances to win and could not finish... not for lack of effort.

Those refs sucked tonight but being incompetent does not make you a cheat.

"In July 2007, reports of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were made public, which alleged that during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 NBA seasons, referee Tim Donaghy bet on games in which he officiated."

NBA yes, but no way SEC.

Doesn't matter if he thought the play had been blown dead because it never was. Refs bailed him out and couldn't even offer a clear explanation for why.

Just like they had to get together for what seemed like 3 minutes to call a safety…:almost as if they were talking about any way to call something else.
