That's right. Total pieces of $h^&. All this nonsense seems to have been brought on purposely by fans. No one at UT gives a rats a$$ about what that guy was doing at Penn St. He has been a head coach at two major programs in college, a head coach in the NFL, and now a DC at Ohio St. If he had a role in the Penn St scandal it would have effected is position at one of his previous stops. Awfully convenient that UT fans dont like the choice, now all of sudden he is at the heart of the Penn St scandal. What a joke. Unreal.

Maybe it's because Schiano was hired in 2015 by Ohio State, and the stuff about him in Sandusky came out in 2016.

Even state legislators, several boosters, and AD employees were against this hire. Shut up

What’s a joke is you would be okay with accepting this type of hire. It was a garbage hire and big middle finger to former and current players, not to mention the ones who actually put money into the program by buying season tickets.

I want to win as bad as anybody, I’d give anybody a shot but I could not morally support this guy. No way, no how. It doesn’t matter if he was at the heart of it or if he knew of it and didn’t say anything, either way he’s just as guilty. He would not succeed here regardless, that’s why I didn’t want him.

I don't know if GS knew or didn't know. I just know it matters that he is suspected and that he's a "meh" option so there's no way you take on the risk that he did know something.

Uncle Lou, you just don’t want to beat by Tennessee do you? We fans at 100% do give a rats but, to beat Georgia to a bloody pulp when we get back to prominence. :)

You’re damn straight all this nonsense was brought on by fans.

In response to the most tone deaf, idiotic, negligent coaching hire in college football since at we last hired Derek Dooley.

From the responses, I believe that they think we hired Sandusky himself.

How about the fact the he is a lifetime .500 coach (68-67 at Rutgers) and the fact that he was an absolute bust in the NFL. Not to mention the amount of stories about him being a cancer in the locker room and his treatment of players. We fire one mediocre coach to turn around and to try and hire another?!! Really?!! I'm tired of the mediocrity, it's the freaking University of Tennessee not Middle Tennessee State. #GoVols #SchiaNO
