OK, the slow starts, the o-line questions, etc. are being hashed and re-hashed to death. But there are a few positive trends that are good to see.
1. Grit. We have shown the ability to turn things around after slow starts and then (dare I say it?) we have demonstrated the ability to finish.
2. D-Line. With Tuttle's return and O'Brien hitting another gear, they are and will continue to be a real force. Vickers hustling downfield and ripping the ball lose was nice to see. If Kongbo progresses and Barnett keeps doing what he does, look out. Lots of talent here.
3. Receivers. They are aggressively going up and taking the jump balls. Jennings' catch did a lot toward getting mo on our side. Malone is much improved.
4. Dobbs. He will nver live up to D4H's lofty expectations as a passer, but he got chances to do what he does best last night and that is critical to future success against tougher teams.
