Some people in San Francisco are already speculating that Tony Vitello wishes he was back with the Tennessee Vols

There is no chance E willingly gives up the HC job lol. He has been waiting for years to finally have a shot to be a HC. He should’ve gotten the South Carolina job last time it was open.
In all sincerity, I think there’s ZERO percent chance of that happening. It wasn’t a serious comment.

Seriously though, Elander was never a candidate for SC. Sorry.

Just like Atlantis Rising, so will Tony V. He split with the Dodgers this week, and that buys him another 30 days. The Giants beat the always tough Athletics last night and now are only 9 GB.

He will be fine, just fine.
But he won't unless he turns it around quickly. The problem won't be him getting fired, it will come when Buster Posey gets fired first and the new GM will want "his guy" in there. Posey went out on a limb hiring him, and it's a failed experiment

LA is one of the only teams who completely buys their team through free agency and trades.
Who do you think gets included in the trades? Prospects.

Where do the prospects come from? The farm.

Who builds the farm? The organization.

Which other teams have the ability to sign free agents, build the farm, and trade? All 29

TV is in a huge leaning curve right now and will be for a long time. My guess is they gave this experiment 3 years to mature.
There's less than a zero percent chance they give this 3 years. Posey is on the hot seat since this hire is all him going out on a limb. He will have to move on from Tony if he wants to save his job. I'd say he gets to the end of the year and then it depends on how far back they are
