Coach Kiffin. Sure he's made some mistakes by making unwise remarks but I believe this guy is going to be a great HC and develope a great program at Tennessee. If he can develope a program much like CPC has @ USC then that will be great after all USC would kick the crap out of anything the SEC has to offer year in year out. I like Coach Fulmer and always supported him, but, I got tired of him always being the blunt of other coaches jokes and never saying anything in response; that approach loses you respect eventually. I like the fact that CLK is not going to take any BS from any opposing coach in the SEC.

Now your coach spews off at they mouth and is the blunt of other jokes lol. congrats. LK's approach has lost his respect first thing. No Lame isn't taking any bs but he sure is dishing it out lol. He gets what he deserves.

I agree with you to a point he has a great supporting staff and I think he will develop into an excellent coach, but I would like for him to have won a few games before he starting taking jabs at everybody in the SEC.

I agree with you in principal about Kiffin but USC would not kick the crap out of anything the SEC has to offer. They manage to lose a game every year against an inferior opponent andt hey would fare even worse if they had to play a physical game every week against an SEC team.

Also post the SEC's record at Pac10 opponents. I hate to say it but the Pac10 doesn't get enough respect nationally. And to that point it is their own fault for not signing better TV contracts and getting more exposure for their teams. The Pac10 was 5-0 in bowl games this year, and while they aren't the best conference in the country they are better than they get credit for.

When have they played more than one SEC team in a year? Sure, they have beaten the crap out of lesser SEC teams but the point is that they don't have to play in the SEC meat grinder. They don't have to deal with getting beat up by LSU one week only to have to play UGA, UF, UT, BAMA, etc the next week. The point is that they consistently lose a game or two in the Pac 10 so why would they fare better in the SEC against better competition? For every tough game they have, it is sandwiched by cupcake games.

Because they get bored with the cannon fodder that is known as the rest of the PAC 10 and end up blowing one game a year that costs them a shot at the title. It's not like they've lost the championships straight up to SEC teams.

After the Ohio state game i was like whoa, that is without a doubt the best team and that is still true ask coach pete if u dont believe me:)

I want to thank all those that keep bashing on CLK and say how he is out of his league and will be a terrible coach. Really, thanks for the laughs; it is good to have something to laugh about when I get back to base from my daily missions here in Iraq. There is nothing like reading post about CLK and how he can’t coach, however he managed to land a gig in the most dominant league in College Football, didn’t happen because has no clue of football. For all of those that say he shouldn't be running his mouth because he has not even one a game, well that is a half empty/empty full comment. From that perspective, he has never lost a game either, so that makes him pretty darn good. Stop being haters and just check out his staff and what he was able to do in recruiting in such a short time. For those that are trashing CLK, please post your accomplishments as head coach in any league, other than powder puff. If you are a true Vol, then stop the negativity and let’s get behind our team and coaches. It is time for the BIG ORANGE to get back to the days of greatness. It starts right now. Give them HELL Coach Lane Kiffin.

Welcome to the board and thank you for your serivice. This debate will continue to rage on for a long time. Even if he wins a SECC, some will say that is not enough. I normally get my popcorn and watch the fireworks when both sides start going at it. Also, reading a good "troll" beat down is quite funny too. Stay safe.:good!:

Most of the people that keep bringing up all this negative stuff are just kiffin haters from florida or alabama. They need to go back to their trailers and keep quiet. Lane K will remember all this trash talk in the fall!
