Some more love for Dobbs

Unless Jackson unfortunately gets injured he will win the Heisman this weekend VS Clemson

Jackson is exceptional but he is a freshman and he will be playing in a hostile environment, so I'm going with clemson and their senior QB. Been wrong before though! :dunno:

Which are Heisman type numbers. Dobbs doesn't have to throw for 350 yards a game to be in the conversation. He needs to be efficiently successful. If he throws for 150 yards a game and rushes for 100 yds a game- he's a Heisman candidate if he doesn't turn it over. It depends.

Well I was being a bit optimistic. Plus Georgia has a bad defense. I don't see any way Dobbs can realistically find himself in the heisman conversation unless he plays as good/ better than the FL game for the rest of the year, especially against TAMU and Bama.

No he won't. He's actually going to be up against a team that has a defense. Don't give me that FSU has a defense because they don't....they've been manhandled this year. Jackson is gonna get brought back down to Earth this weekend. Clemson wins 30-21.

That same Clemson team who only beat Auburn and Troy by 6 and gave up 24 to Troy? You don't think Petrino outscores Troy? Clemson is the most overrated undefeated team in the country right now based on performance and strength of opponents.

Very true. No road game in the SEC (outside of Vandy) is a gimme, especially Between the Hedges. What has me confident this Saturday is how our individual seasons have played out so far. UGA comes out flat against Nicholls, then gets routed by Ole Miss.

We come out flat against Ohio, then pull off one of the biggest comebacks of the year against a pretty good team. I just see them doubting there selves a little, while we're coming in with a head full of steam. All just mo of course.

Go back to my thread in the summer. I posted TA&M was the trap game on the schedule. I didn't likeep where it fell and plus I thought everyone was sleeping on them.

Well how about it now?

Did you not see the ACC championship game last year? Yet they stomp the **** out of OU.

I have thought the same thing. TA&M has a lot of deadly weapons, especially at wide receiver. IMO Trevor Knight has the arm and reads to deliver the ball but lacked confidence. Seems he gained that against UCLA and never looked back.

Calling it now:

If Dobbs gets invited to the Heisman ceremony, I will shave my eyebrows off

Very true and well stated :hi:

Says a lot that even when we aren't firing on all cylinders for 60 min, we're still 4-0 and put up 38 straight points on the "#1 defense in the country" at the time.

#1 Defense only in the minds of the Gators. Who else agrees the Gators defense is #1, now?
