Looks like the starting 5 on the OL this Spring will be
LT: Richardson
LG: Thomas
C: Bullard
RG: Fulton
RT: James
I was telling you that Peterman was having a very impressive offseason about a month ago according to Hubbs. He has bulked up to over 220 lbs. People will be glad Dooley didn't redshirt Worley before it's all said and done.
Jordan Williams got the Hard Knox Defensive MVP after workouts according to his twitter. This is one of the best pure athletic defensive lineman we've had in a long time. Last I heard he was still growing and would be a true DE in the 3-4 instead of a LB. Will be interesting to see his impact as a pass rusher in the 4-3 sets and what they will do with him in 3-4.
Dooley is either happier with the team this year since he is dealing with older players, or he has re-assessed the way he handles the players. He has been more hands-on with them and has tried to be more of a "regular guy." Gave the players two off-days after being impressed with their combine. A couple of weeks ago he conducted a Madden tournament and played against them.
And I love this quote from Sunseri:
"What I want to do is that I want to put a product on the field where everyone who comes to the stadium says you know what, these guys are playing hard, Sunseri said. They are playing reckless. They are giving their bodies up for this University and they are making plays. That's the most important thing. What I'm looking at first is the discipline we come out on the field with. The discipline we play our technique with. Our toughness, our awareness of plays. Being smart and being tough is what we are going to be all about.
