Let me preface this by saying I always hear people say Florida has so much talent, so much depth, etc......most of which is nonsense, but if you keep repeating it enough people start to believe it.

Florida started 11 guys, half our starters, who are sophomores or younger. Out of those 11, we started 3 true freshmen, 2 on defense and 1 on offense.

Our offense with Weis, even on the bad plays, is 10 times better than last year's disaster. had the right play call on most of the time and Brantley seemed so muchy more confident.

Our OL played pretty decent and we ran the ball pretty well. Rainey and Demps looked great.

we have no game-breaking WR. None.

You better score on our defense this year, because the more these kids gel for 2012, our defense will be the best in the country. Very impressed with how our guys ran to the football and attacked the line of scrimmage.

We only start 5 seniors.

This is the Vols football forum... if you want a Florida love fest thread probably needs to be in Around the NCAA.

It's going to be a knock-down, drag-out in the Swamp. Could go either way. A big win for both teams.

He's referring to when the Gators player the Vols. Looks like the right forum to me.

Thanks for the input.. I know Cincy will not be a pushover, but I can not wait to see how Bray and Hunter / Rogers do against a legit SEC defense.

And if our Defense can keep up with Demps.

I think Gators fans and Vols fans can agree that this is the best chance Tennessee has had to beat Florida in quite some time.

Muschamp's class for 2012 is actually ranked 3rd in the country right now, and if UF has a decent season in the 1st year of a new offensive and defensive system, then that ranking could get even better.

This year's game very well could decide the future pecking order in the East for the next 4-5 years. Tennessee has to win this game IMO to prove to themselves that they can come back to their glory days.

It will be very close though. Hoping UF comes out on top

We start 3 Freshmen and 11 Sophomores. (Our offensive class of 2010 was sick!)You cannot use the inexperience card against the Vols to dampen expectations.

What is a bearcat anyway? A great big cat or a little biddy bear? Is it a real animal or some contrived mascot?

Evidently the NFL Coaches and GM's are some of the people that believe it too, at least on Draft day.

They must be conspiring with Rivals, because they believe it to. The Heisman committee might be in on it too, since they gave Heisman's to two QB's that Florida had on the roster at the same time at one point.

Three of your four defensive lineman were 5 stars. Demps is probably the fastest running back in the country. Your problems at corner, QB and receiver and team depth aren't from lack of recruiting talent either, you've had some dismissal's and busts. So enough with the alligator tears.

He's right though. Whether you guys want to believe it or not, Florida is just as young as Tennessee is, if not younger...

unless 70% of UF's roster is Soph or below they are not younger. We also have true freshmen starting all over the field

We played 17 freshman total on Saturday, including 6 that started. There are 17 Juniors and 17 Seniors on UF's roster right now. There are 36 freshman, and 35 sophomores currently (I may be 1 or 2 off on this).

I'd say that's pretty dang young...

Rainey looked just as good or better than Demps imo.
