What a great view into our coach. I loved this part:

Pearl's tunnel vision drove him to perform as the school's mascot during the NCAA Tournament in 1981 because their cheerleaders and mascot were at their own competition.
"He got reprimanded the opening game because he got on the ladder behind the basket and started jerking on the wires on the backboard while a guy was shooting a free throw," Davis said, laughing.
