We are having the same problem with women on the team. We can't get enough to sign up and the ones that are already signed up don't know if they will be able to be at every game.:banghead2:I quit playing after last year. The co-ed team drove me nuts because we could never get enough women there to play. I enjoyed it when I played on a men's only because everyone would actually show up.
My advice for hitting the ball is to try and swing level and make contact. If you try to kill it you will pop up every time
I play in an adult league with some work people. It's fun because not many take it too seriously. Good luck in CF, I park myself on the mound for most games. Pitching does take some talent![]()
I quit playing a couple of years ago because there were way too many people who apparently thought there were scouts for the show watching their every move, and that was in a "friendly" white collar league. In younger days I played on an industrial league team for a friend's engineering company and those guys were insane. I'm talking stirrup pants, black-out under the eyes, hats on at night, $300 Dimarini (sp?) bats, etc.
