Any word on Brody Smith being a take still or not. He was before Blair committed. IDK with shabazz decommitting changes anything or what

The question is going to be does anyone else value him more than Tennessee does and offer him a little more to sweeten the pot.

Got Harris. The rest of the class, unless we take Brody Smith, will likely consist of flips. Who do we target for flips now? My guesses:

Lincoln Watkins-TE (Kentucky commit)
Savion Hiter-RB (Michigan commit)
Kendre Harrison-TE (Oregon commit)
Zyan Gibson-CB (Bama commit)
Jireh Edwards-S (Bama commit)
JJ Finch-DT (Bama commit)

I don’t think we’ll try too hard to flip Craig Tutt. Just doesn’t feel like they want to put much into that. Maybe I’m wrong.
Which is…something.

I’ll just say this. If you have time, watch Oakland.
And see for yourself who’s the better player.
The better safety.

If Wyatt just played EDGE then I believe he would clearly be the best player on the field.

Are you aware of amount of current peer level recruiting on these guys? That always makes me feel better. If the staff is good with yield from this group so am I. Maybe save 1 for a SR BLOW UP GUY!!
If they can flip some of those Bama DBs they should do it. We’re going to be extremely thin at the safety and position next year. We need some freaks back there. So far DB has been the one position group we’ve yet to sign an elite HS class at so far. Luckily we’ve done extremely well in the portal the last 2 years. Although losing Thomas and Harrison really hurt us

Seriously doubt they even pursue any DBs committed to Bama. Bama is likely paying those guys more than we are willing to invest in DBs.

Oh I’ve seen Tutt. He’s awesome. Haven’t seen Wyatt at Safety, but I’ll take your word for it (until I do see him, at least).

But I don’t think they’re taking Wyatt over Tutt per se. I think they’re doing what it takes to get Wyatt by giving him a shot at Safety, but he’ll end up at Edge once he gets on campus and realizes he’s not a college Safety.

I really do like what I’ve seen of Combay, but I don’t know why we can’t take Tutt with him. Unless it’s a situation where it would take more money to get him than they think he’s worth and maybe it drives up the price of the room. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The better you coach em up and retain your core the better you will be. Players gravitate toward coaches that can develop players and teams that win. Credit Heupel and the staff they have a great knack for spotting talent and developing it. All things close these things become very important. This team appears to be maybe the closest in togetherness so far as well. Lots of positives right now looking down the road. The culture seems right. GBO

I like the fight we saw from the guys today even though I’m angry that we didn’t close them out… Anyway, do y’all know if there are any reported foul candidates? Would be great to flip another talented player to the good guys because surely they can see how lethal this offense can be.
