I heard Beilema in an interview once say he and Jones are very good friends when asked about SEC coaches he had a relationship with. Apparently when Jones left CMU for Cincy and JJ Watt couldn't follow Jones recommended Wisconsin.

I may have remembered it wrong. But on a national radio show they were talking about Jones and Beilema being great friends and Jones helping get Watt to Wisconsin. But hell, they could be wrong too. But I def heard Beilema say Jones was his very good friend.
